Galaxite

Galaxite is a Minecraft Bedrock Edition featured server created by Blockception, a studio founded in October 2015 by Alex Bellavita and Jonathan Black. While Blockception has been active on the Minecraft Marketplace since its early days as a founding Marketplace partner, the Galaxite server concept dates back to 2017, with the server officially joining the Minecraft featured server list in 2020.

What sets Galaxite apart from other featured servers is its commitment to originality. Rather than offering the standard BedWars/SkyWars/Survival formula that dominates most servers, Galaxite built its roster around unique minigames that you genuinely cannot find anywhere else. Core Wars, Prop Hunt, Fill The Gaps, Chronos, Hyper Racers, and Rush each bring something different to the table, and none of them feel like a reskin of a mode you have played a hundred times before.

Blockception's Marketplace background is a key part of the story. As a founding Minecraft Marketplace partner, the studio had years of experience creating high-quality Bedrock content before launching the server. That expertise shows in Galaxite's visual polish and game design -- the maps are detailed, the UI is clean, and the games feel like they were designed specifically for Bedrock's touch and controller inputs rather than being ports of Java concepts.

With 320 products on the Marketplace, Blockception and Galaxite together represent one of the more prolific content creation operations in the Bedrock ecosystem. Their work spans the full range of Marketplace content types, from worlds and add-ons to skin packs and texture packs, giving them multiple revenue streams alongside the server itself.

The community gathers primarily on Discord and Twitter, with a dedicated wiki on Fandom that documents game mechanics, updates, and server history. Galaxite also sells merchandise through a Redbubble store, which speaks to the kind of brand loyalty the server has built among its player base.
