Stacy Hinojosa, known online as StacyPlays, created her YouTube channel on March 11, 2013, and quickly carved out a distinctive niche in the Minecraft content landscape. While most Minecraft YouTubers focused on PvP, redstone, or building, Stacy built her brand around animals, rescue themes, and wholesome survival gameplay. Her channel has grown to over 2 million subscribers with roughly 900 million total views, making her one of the most successful female Minecraft content creators on the platform.

Her flagship series, Dogcraft, is a modded Minecraft survival let's play centered on rescuing wolves and dogs, building them elaborate shelters, and creating a community around animal care. The series runs every Wednesday and Saturday and has been going for years. It is so popular that it has its own wiki (dogcraft.net) and was adapted into a series available on Amazon Prime Video. The Minecraft versions of Stacy's real-life pets -- Page, Molly, Polly, her cat Milquetoast, and her dog Pipsqueak -- are regular characters in both her YouTube content and her Marketplace products.

Stacy holds a journalism degree from Brigham Young University and parlayed her storytelling skills into the Wild Rescuers book series, a New York Times bestselling children's series inspired by Minecraft about a girl and her pack of wolves traveling the world to help animals. The series bridges the gap between gaming content and children's literature in a way that few creators have managed.

On the Marketplace, StacyPlays has been a partner since 2021 with 10 products that stay true to her brand identity. The Dogcraft Skin Pack features Minecraft versions of her real-life pets. The Mob Menagerie Add-On introduces 10 new mobs to the game. More Pets lets players craft collars and befriend 40 different mobs, including hostile ones. Rescue Dogs - MUTTS! focuses specifically on rescuing and taming different dog varieties. Every product reflects Stacy's core philosophy: Minecraft is better when you can befriend things.

She was also part of real-world crossovers, including being hired alongside Logdotzip and Rabahrex to design a biorock structure off the coast of Cozumel, Mexico, and she serves on the team for Block by Block, a Minecraft-based urban planning initiative by UN-Habitat.
